Being born again involves the death of coping mechanisms and trauma manifestations.

As humans, we are creatures of habit. We learn to cope with life's trials and tribulations through various mechanisms that we pick up along the way. These coping mechanisms may have helped us navigate the difficulties of life, but as we become more spiritually aware, we realize that they are no longer necessary. In fact, they may be holding us back from truly embodying God's light and love.

Being born again involves a shedding of the old self, including the coping mechanisms and trauma derived manifestations that have become a part of our personality. It may not be an easy journey, but it is a necessary one if we want to be closer to the Biblical Creator. We must identify these mechanisms and manifestations and work towards eliminating them from our lives.

Take the example of someone who struggles with anger management. This individual may have learned to cope with their anger through aggressive behavior, perhaps even using this behavior to get what they want in life. But as they become more spiritually aware, they realize that this behavior is no longer acceptable. They must identify the root cause of their anger and work towards healing it, rather than continuing to use it as a coping mechanism.

Similarly, individuals who have experienced trauma may have developed manifestations such as anxiety, depression, or addiction. These manifestations may have helped them cope with the trauma in the past, but they are no longer serving them well in the present. It is important for these individuals to receive proper support and care in order to heal from their trauma and move forward without these manifestations.

Being born again means letting go of the things that no longer serve us well. It means identifying and dismantling the coping mechanisms and trauma derived manifestations that have become a part of who we are. It may be a painful process, but it is a necessary one if we want to live a life that is in alignment with God's will.

In conclusion, being born again is about identifying and killing the parts of ourselves that are keeping us from living a life that is aligned with God's will. It involves shedding the old self and working towards healing and growth. It is not an easy journey, but it is one that is deeply rewarding. As we let go of our old coping mechanisms and trauma derived manifestations, we make room for God's light and love to shine through us, guiding us towards a more peaceful and fulfilling life.
