Introduction: A Biblical Identity Hidden in Plain Sight

Throughout the pages of Scripture, the Most High God, YHWH, made an eternal covenant with a specific people—the Israelites. He gave them laws, statutes, and commandments to follow. In exchange for obedience, they were promised blessings. But disobedience would bring devastating curses. These curses weren’t just punishments—they were prophetic markers, divine signs and wonders, designed to identify who the true descendants of Israel are in the latter days.

“They shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and upon your seed forever.” – Deuteronomy 28:46

This blog explores these curses in-depth, comparing them with historical and modern realities. We’ll reveal how these prophetic curses provide irrefutable clues about the identity of the true Israelites today—clues that point unmistakably to the so-called Black people, particularly those scattered throughout the Americas, the Caribbean, and Africa.

The Curse for Disobedience: A Sign Forever

Deuteronomy 28:45-46 describes the foundational purpose of the curses:

“Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed... And they shall be upon you for a sign and a wonder, and upon your descendants forever.”

The curses are identifiers—not for a moment, not for a season, but forever. They are the spiritual fingerprint of Israel.

The Fall from Glory: Slavery, Oppression, and Mental Captivity

“The Lord will bring a nation against you... as swift as the eagle flies...”– Deuteronomy 28:49

The eagle—used by Rome, America, and other empires—represents nations that have enslaved, colonized, and mentally oppressed the true Israelites. These people were taken in ships (v.68), a prophetic reference to the Transatlantic Slave Trade:

“And the Lord shall bring you into Egypt again with ships... and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen.” – Deuteronomy 28:68

Egypt represents bondage (Exodus 20:2). No historical event fits this prophecy more than the brutal shipment of millions of Africans across the seas—stripped of identity, culture, and knowledge of self.

Serving in Hunger, Nakedness, and Yokes of Iron

“...in hunger, in thirst, and in nakedness... and He shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck...” – Deuteronomy 28:48

Yokes of iron were literally used during slavery. Hunger, thirst, and dependency on oppressive systems continue today through systemic poverty, welfare dependency, and food deserts in urban communities.

Scattered, Oppressed, and Spiritually Disconnected

“And the Lord shall scatter you among all people... and there you shall serve other gods, wood and stone...”– Deuteronomy 28:64

The Israelites would forget their identity and be immersed in world religions—Christianity, Islam, and other doctrines foreign to the commandments of YHWH. Their lives would be full of fear, anxiety, and despair, with no true rest (v.65-66).

Loss of Identity and Knowledge

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...” – Hosea 4:6“Israel does not know; My people do not consider.” – Isaiah 1:3

Because of sin and rebellion, the true Israelites forgot who they are. This spiritual amnesia was part of the punishment.

A Strong Delusion and False Doctrine

“God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.” – 2 Thessalonians 2:11

From false images of Christ to deceptive doctrines, Israel would be fed a different Jesus, a different gospel, and a different spirit (2 Corinthians 11:4). The narrow path would be found by only a remnant (Matthew 7:14).

A Special People: Chosen and Loved by YHWH

“Among all the people, thou hast gotten thee one people...” – 2 Esdras 5:27

Israel is not just any nation; it is the apple of God's eye, His heritage, His vine, His sheep (Psalm 147:19-20, Deuteronomy 32:9). He did not give His laws to any other nation.

The Israelites Are a Black People: Scriptural Proof

“I am black but comely, O daughters of Jerusalem.” – Song of Solomon 1:5“Their visage is blacker than coal...” – Lamentations 4:8

The Bible affirms that the original Israelites were Black. Christ Himself is described with woolly hair and bronze skin (Revelation 1:14-15, Daniel 7:9). These descriptions have been whitewashed by colonial Christianity.

A Conspiracy Against the True Israel

“Come, let us cut them off from being a nation...” – Psalm 83:4

From ancient times until now, nations have conspired to erase the identity of Israel. Even the Apocrypha (1 Maccabees 3:48) reveals how the heathen painted themselves into the Scriptures, replacing the true image of the chosen people.

The Synagogue of Satan: Imposters and the Real Jews

“I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews and are not...” – Revelation 2:9

A prophecy about a group who would falsely claim the identity of Israel, yet not match any of the biblical curses or prophecies. The real Israelites are poor, oppressed, persecuted, and in captivity (Luke 21:24). Today, many claim the identity of Israel, but only a small remnant of people bear the prophetic scars.

Conclusion: Wake Up, O Israel!

“How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise from thy sleep?” – Proverbs 6:9

Now is the time for the children of Israel to wake up. We are not Gentiles, Africans, African-Americans, Caribbeans, or West Indians. We are the descendants of Jacob, YHWH’s chosen people, prophesied to go through oppression—but also redemption.

“Whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 5:19

Repent, return to the laws, and reclaim your true heritage. The time of the Gentiles is coming to an end. The truth is being revealed. The curses are lifting, and the awakening of Israel is shaking the nations.
